PRORYB :: Icelandic investors has acquired the majority of shares in Proryb Sp. Z.o.o.

A group of Icelandic investors has acquired the majority of shares in Proryb Sp. z.o.o. which is one of the oldest private companies within the seafood industrial sector in Poland established 1972.

Mr. Zygmunt Dyzmanski, the founder of Proryb will continue as President of the Supervisory board and Mrs. Bozena Dyzmanska continues as vice president of Management Board and remains as share holder in the company. Gudmundur Stefansson who leads the group of the Icelandic investors will be the President of Management Board. Gudmundur holds Doctor Degree in Food Science and has extensive management experience including Management positions within Alfesca and Icelandic Group. Sigurdur Petursson, General Manager of Novo Food in France, is a Member of the Board.

Proryb is located in Rumia, next to the “tricity” (Gdynia, Sopot and Gdansk), with close 8 ths. square meter production facilities that are certified according to the high standards of ISO 9000, BRC (British Retail Consortium), IFS (International Food Standard). The company produces the full range of seafood products including smoked, marinated, salted, salads, spreadables and other ready-to-eat products. Proryb is known for its high quality products and is also known as one of the leading brand names within the seafood sector in Poland. The company distributes (sells) its product in all the major retail chains in Poland.
